Trade Days at the Coke Ovens Park!

West Blocton is having Trade Days on Saturday, November 10 and Sunday, November 11 at the West Blocton Coke Ovens Park. The hours are 8 am to 5 pm each day and admission is free. First Interpretive Sign Installed in the Park

The West Blocton Coke Ovens Park now has its first interpretive sign. The sign was made possible by a grant from the Tombigbee Resource Conservation & Development Council. In addition to creating the sign, the grant allowed the park to create a comprehensive signage plan outlining future signs for visitor orientation, park interpretation and wayfinding. Boardwalk & Trails Opening – November 12, 2011
